Laminar Flow Clean Air : This design makes for high efficiency operation, providing class 100 clean air in areas where a bio-clean, asceeptic atmosphere is indispensable for precision wok operation. Atmospheric air is sucked in by special blowers through primary filters where large dust particles are eliminated. Then the air passes through high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters which remove 99.97% of all air-borne particles even as small 0.3 microns. These filters cover the entire surface of the enclosure with the average velocity of air near the filter being 90 FPM (0.5 mtrs/sec). All access opening and non-clean activities are kept upstream in the moving air flow. Clean activities are placed downstream as close to the filter as possible. Clean Benches : Clean Benches provide class 100 clean air n a restricted area like a work table and remove dust particles down to 0.5 microns. They are available in two basic types – the horizontal type where laminar flow of air is in a horizontal direction and the vertical type which maintains positive air pressure in the clean air space by reducing the air outlet. Clean Benches are made from welded CRCA steel 16 SWG or block/commercial playboard with white laminates.
